A townhouse, traditional and with a strong dependency on the load-bearing walls, sets strict space conditions for this house of no more than 5 meters wide.

The concern of maintaining the traditional character of the house and the importance of the local materials have shaped this project since the very beginning.

After knowing deeper the house history, it is proposed to maintain the essential elements of it, the load-bearing walls, disregarding all the annexed parts and extensions that were improvised, and strengthening them with the creation of an open and flexible space, placing heaviness and lightness in opposition.
